The waiter was rude to us the entire time but she smiled and laughed with the table next to us. I ordered chicken Marsala and it was pure slop.... I've never had a plate so overflowing with sauce before 😭 the old woman serving us didn't care.

The only issue we had was that, as folks who live on the Mason-Dixon line, we like our sweet tea to be very, very sweet, and, of course, folks this far north of that line prefer their sweet tea significantly less sweet. But adding sweetness is far easier than removing it, and no point making it too sweet for locals, so we just added sugar! The flounder was excellent. The turkey I got was amazing. The apple crisp was to die for. We'll be back next time we're up Altoona way, so have the sugar rack well stocked for us, please!

In town staying at Blue Knob and drove in and man was it worth it. The proportions were large and the food was great. We had the club w/ fries and a chicken salad sandwich on a croissant with homemade chips and their onion soup. Sad we missed breakfast it ends at 11 kinda wanted a brunch. Atmosphere was also great was like cracker barrel if they were truly from the country. Wait staff was attentive and kind. Greeter could have been more outspoken and polite.

Excellent food, diner style. Very nice staff, and very happy to help. Of note, you should seek out a pastry here. They are very good and many large enough to share. We’ve been several times and will keep going back for more.

Atmosphere, parking, portions, and prices were good. We went to support a business that went out of its way to support their neighbors - and the level of care they showed then absolutely shines through in their food. Food is their love language - delicious and cooked well, with care put into it. Food and service were genuinely great, and this will be one of our comfort restaurants.

Had a reservation at 530. 10 of us in the party room. We waited no less than 25mins to even be acknowledged was told by the server that no one told her we were back there. In the meantime.another party of 8 was sat, ordered drinks, and had bread and then their food before we even go to order. It wasnt our waitress fault but when I explaiend our frustration we ahd already been waiting 25 mins she made the comment if I wanted to.order 1st since I was so upset. It was uncalled for and thats what really upset us. She did try to reconcile but a customer should not be addressed like that. I perhaps over reacted a little and it was.not her fault. Its a local restaurant thats been around for years. They do have decent service overall and great home made deserts. The INCREDIBLE club had real turkey but it was incredibly dry.
